The Globe Corner Bookstores will confirm with you via email that your order has been received. Please add us to your address book to avoid accidental filtering of any future correspondence; we may need to contact you if there are stock issues, or if we have any questions about your order.

Continental U.S.
UPS ground service and Priority Mail are our standard shipping methods. Our standard shipping charges (UPS or Priority Mail delivery to anywhere in the continental U.S., based on destination and size of the order) are as follows:

• Books and folded maps: $5.45 base charge + $0.50 for each book and $0.25 for each map
• Rolled maps: $6.50 base charge + $1.00 for each rolled map
• Oversize books: $7.50 base charge (for New England) or $8.50 base charge (for the rest of the U.S.) + $.50 for each item

Most orders leave our warehouse within 2 business days. Standard ground delivery orders take approximately 4 to 10 calendar days from the date you order. We are in Massachusetts. The closer you are to us, the quicker your order should arrive.

Any online orders submitted after 12 pm Eastern Standard Time will be processed and shipped the next business day (if in stock). Please keep this in mind for expedited shipping requests, and adjust shipping methods accordingly.

Globes and large wall maps on rollers are shipped via UPS whenever possible. Globes over 20" in diameter must be sent by truck. We will confirm the cost of shipping for globes at the time of the order.

Expedited Shipping
Rush orders submitted before 12 pm Eastern Standard Time will be processed and shipped the same business day (if in stock). Rush orders submitted after 12 pm Eastern Standard Time will be processed and shipped the next business day (if in stock). Please consider whether you would like Saturday delivery (for an additional fee) or Monday delivery for expedited shipments. If your order shipped via UPS 2-Day, 3-Day, or Next-Day Air you will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail from UPS at the time your order departs Globecorner.com.

Shipping choices include:

• UPS 1 Day Air
• UPS 2nd Day Air
• FEDEX Next Business Day
• FEDEX Priority (delivery by 10:30 the next business day).

When necessary, please indicate whether you would like Saturday delivery (for an additional fee) or Monday delivery.

For all expedited shipments the shipping charge will be the carrier's rate plus a $2.00 handling charge.

Alaska & Hawaii
UPS 2nd-Day Air and Priority Mail are our preferred methods of shipping to Hawaii and Alaska. We will base our shipping charges on rate schedules.

Canada
Canadian orders are shipped via Global Priority Mail to Canada. UPS shipping is not available for Canadian customers.

Canadian orders are subject to duties and taxes by Canadian government entites.

Any such duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer once the package reaches the destination and cannot be determined in advance. We recommend that questions be directed to local customs offices for details on how these charges are assessed and applied.

Our standard shipping method is UPS Ground to all zones where the service is available. We will base our shipping charges on U.P.S.'s rate schedule.

Overseas Addresses
We will confirm your order via e-mail and advise you of the shipping costs and anticipated delivery time. Please let us know if you prefer surface, air, or expedited (2-5 day) shipping via FEDEX.
